The Role

We’re seeking a Head of Product to own the strategy, architecture, and execution of Alvara’s end-to-end product ecosystem. This role will shape the core platform experience across our blockchain infrastructure, AlvaraAI agent layer, supply chain integrations, and future verticals.

This is a foundational leadership position for a systems-first product leader who has built zero-to-one platforms with embedded intelligence, physical integrations, and high-consequence user interfaces. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Ops, and Commercial leadership to align technical feasibility

with ethical scale.

You’ll own not just roadmaps, but outcomes, translating Alvara’s global vision into an interoperable, elegant, and resilient product ecosystem that enables data sovereignty, behavioral intelligence, and

participatory commerce.

Key Deliverables in the First 12–18 Months

• Architect and ship v1 of the Alvara product stack: Blockchain-backed traceability interface, NFC-enabled packaging layer, and AlvaraAI agent workflows

• Define Alvara’s core product taxonomy across stakeholders (consumer, partner, internal operations)

• Build and lead the product development process from concept to deployment—tools, rituals, and timelines

• Launch an AI-native operations system (AlvaraAI) to optimize workflows across sourcing, inventory, and customer insights

• Integrate blockchain transparency layer into all consumer and B2B-facing product experiences

• Translate compliance, ethical sourcing, and supply chain integrity into elegant UX/UI for public and internal use

• Define long-term product licensing models and build API frameworks for external integration

• Support technical due diligence and platform vision storytelling for investors during Series A

Who You Are

You are a technical product leader with systems in your blood. You build frameworks that outlast hype cycles, and products that are simultaneously elegant and infrastructural. You’ve owned platforms from zero, navigated complexity with humility, and have a bias toward clarity, velocity, and ethical rigor. You see commerce as an interaction between values and infrastructure and you’re ready to shape what

comes next.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, systems design, or platform architecture

• Built and shipped complex, multi-stakeholder platforms (e.g. supply chain, AI/ML, fintech, logistics, commerce infra)

• Deep fluency in user-centered design, product discovery, and roadmap ownership

• Track record leading cross-functional engineering and design teams through 0–1 and 1–n launches

• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, or traceability technologies

• Experience building or scaling AI-powered tools or internal agent systems

• Strong communication and decision-making skills across business, product, and engineering stakeholders

• Operated at the intersection of physical systems and digital experience (supply chain, embedded hardware, retail tech, etc.)

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to decentralized architecture or modular product platforms

• Familiarity with traceability systems (GS1, IoT tagging, smart packaging)

• Experience building internal tools that scale startup operations

• Ability to recruit, manage, and retain high-caliber product and design talent

Compensation

Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 base + meaningful early equity

Equity: Founding team grant level

Benefits: 32 Hour Work Week (Mon–Thu), Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and full visibility into company strategy and planning
