Alvara is a platform company reinventing how global trade, trust, and consumer intelligence come together. We’re building data infrastructure that connects source to shelf, enabling radically transparent supply chains, participatory commerce, and real-time behavioral insights across physical and digital environments.
Our first vertica, consumer wellnes, proves what this platform can do: track ethically sourced commodities from farm to shelf, verify integrity through smart packaging, and learn directly from customer interaction. But that’s just the beginning. Alvara is architected to scale into any industry where trust, data,
and human behavior intersect.
With a blockchain-backed sourcing engine, an AI-native operating system (AlvaraAI), and a flagship retail lab launching in Miami, we’re not just launching a product, we’re building the next generation of intelligent, ethical infrastructure. We’re backed by leading partners and assembling a founding team that blends systems thinking, cultural fluency, and operational rigor.
If you're ready to build the future of commerce and redefine what companies owe their communities: this is your moment.
The Role
Alvara is seeking a DTC Project Manager to lead the operational execution of Alvara’s direct-to-consumer initiatives across retail, e-commerce, packaging, fulfillment, and launch planning. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, this is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented project manager who can coordinate
complex timelines, manage vendor relationships, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of consumer-facing systems.
A core priority of this role will be managing the executional roadmap for the Alvara Lab Miami launch, including physical space buildout, merchandise readiness, digital integration, and in-store customer
experience components. You’ll also support the day-to-day project flows of our supply chain, e-commerce infrastructure, and packaging teams.
This is an ideal role for a highly accountable operator who thrives on clarity, speed, and alignment.
Key Deliverables in the First 12–18 Months
• Lead the full project execution timeline for Alvara Lab Miami, coordinating with construction, design, product, and marketing
• Manage packaging production timelines, vendor deliverables, and inventory arrival for DTC and retail channels
• Track, update, and report status on key operational workflows using project management tools (Notion, Asana, Airtable, etc.)
• Work cross-functionally with Retail, Product, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure aligned deliverables
• Coordinate all external vendor timelines across creative, construction, retail design, and logistics
• Build standard operating procedures (SOPs) for retail launch, inventory flow, and merchandising coordination
• Maintain budget visibility and ensure cost alignment for all DTC-related project areas
• Flag risks, dependencies, or bottlenecks early and escalate issues to the Director of Finance & Operations
• Support ongoing operational improvement and post-launch scale-up
Who You Are
You are a proactive, detail-driven project manager who knows how to turn vision into execution. You’ve managed multi-part timelines, built dashboards, coordinated vendors, and kept large initiatives on track
without compromising quality or speed. You communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and thrive in environments where collaboration, accountability, and precision matter.
Minimum Qualifications
• 5–7+ years experience in project management or operations, ideally in retail, eCommerce, or consumer goods
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex timelines across physical and digital project components
• Strong fluency in project management platforms (e.g. Notion, Asana, Airtable, Gantt charts, Excel)
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships
• Familiarity with supply chain, packaging, logistics, or retail construction timelines
• Strong budget tracking, communication, and timeline reporting skills
• High degree of ownership, clarity, and follow-through
Preferred Experience
• Experience launching a DTC retail store or pop-up, including construction and merchandising execution
• Familiarity with fulfillment, eCommerce, or direct-to-consumer inventory models
• Prior work in health, wellness, design, or sustainability-focused businesses
• Exposure to compliance or regulated product timelines (e.g., FDA packaging, CCPA privacy workflows)
Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000 base
Equity: Early team grant
Benefits: 32 Hour Work Week (Mon–Thu), Full medical, dental, vision, PTO, and deep collaboration across ops, retail, and product execution
Location: Remote (Miami Preferred)
Reports to: Director of Finance and Operations
Status: Role commences June 2025
Why This Role Matters
Alvara’s DTC experience is more than a sales channel, it’s a platform for storytelling, intelligence, and trust. As DTC Project Manager, you’ll ensure that the systems behind that experience run smoothly, scale
gracefully, and launch flawlessly.
