The Role

Alvara is hiring an SAP Integration Specialist to lead the planning, configuration, and deployment of SAP systems as part of our operational tech stack. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless integration between SAP modules and Alvara’s product infrastructure including supply chain systems, financial workflows, inventory management, and external partner platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Product, this role will collaborate closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Data teams to align SAP architecture with the company’s internal workflows and long-term platform roadmap. This is a hands-on position ideal for a specialist who can lead SAP implementation in a fast-moving, systems-driven startup environment.

Key Deliverables in the First 12–18 Months

• Lead the end-to-end configuration and integration of SAP S/4HANA or equivalent platform

• Align SAP modules (Finance, Inventory, Supply Chain, CRM) with Alvara’s core product and data flows

• Implement APIs and middleware to connect SAP to AlvaraAI, internal ops dashboards, and retail infrastructure

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define scalable SAP workflows for future verticals and global markets

• Develop internal documentation and training to ensure SAP tools are usable across Finance and Operations

• Ensure compliance with data integrity, privacy, and audit-readiness standards

• Support automation of real-time reporting across inventory, sourcing, and customer engagement metrics

• Manage SAP updates, security patches, and performance optimization in coordination with IT and security teams

Who You Are

You are a highly skilled SAP systems integrator with a product mindset. You know how to navigate complexity, translate business requirements into system configurations, and deliver integrations that enhance—not disrupt—team workflows. You’re collaborative, eZcient, and technically rigorous, with a passion for systems that drive operational clarity and scale.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5–7+ years experience with SAP systems implementation and integration

• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA or related ERP platforms

• Experience working with SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, and SCM

• Demonstrated success integrating SAP with modern product stacks and APIs

• Strong fluency in data workflows, documentation, and system design

• Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, and third-party middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi)

• Ability to translate cross-functional requirements into clean, scalable configurations

• Comfort working in early-stage or fast-paced tech environments

Preferred Experience

• Experience integrating SAP in retail, consumer, or supply chain–driven environments

• Exposure to blockchain or AI-native systems and their integration with ERP platforms

• Experience with compliance systems for inventory control, sourcing, or regulatory reporting

• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) and integration into ERP flows

• Strong project management skills with history of end-to-end implementation leadership

Compensation

Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 base

Equity: Early team grant
